Middleton focuses her practice on employment and corporate law, providing tailored legal solutions to businesses across a range of industries. Since joining Gutwein Law in 2014 and working part-time for many years while raising her family, Middleton has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to providing top-notch legal service and a passion for mentoring her peers. She has played a pivotal role in several high-profile transactions and important client matters.
Specifically, Shannon has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, employment law, and banking law. She has closed complex M&A transactions, including asset sales, equity deals, and stock sales. From an employment law perspective, Shannon has experience drafting multi-state handbooks, advising on termination and leave policies, and preparing employee separation and release of claims agreements. Her banking law experience includes drafting and reviewing loan documents for multi-million-dollar transactions, analyzing title and survey documents, and negotiating subordination agreements.
