Gutwein Law is pleased to announce that Longsworth Law LLC is joining the firm, marking the expansion of Gutwein Law into the Fort Wayne market. As part of the transition, attorney Jeanne Longsworth will join as a Partner, along with two paralegals.
Jeanne brings more than 35 years of experience counseling individuals, families, and business owners on wealth transfer and preservation, estate planning, business succession planning, and estate, probate, and trust administration. She founded Longsworth Law LLC in 2007 after more than two decades as a partner at one of Indiana’s largest law firms. In addition to her legal practice, Jeanne is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is admitted to practice in Indiana and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
“I am excited to continue serving my clients with the depth and breadth of Gutwein Law behind me,” said Jeanne. “This move allows me to offer expanded resources while maintaining the same personalized approach that has always been the hallmark of my practice.”
The addition of Jeanne and her team enhances Gutwein Law’s estate and succession planning practice while also signifying the opening of the firm’s new Fort Wayne office.
“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Jeanne and the Longsworth Law team to Gutwein Law,” said Stuart Gutwein, Managing Partner of Gutwein Law. “Her deep experience in estate and succession planning will be an incredible resource for our clients, and her leadership in the community is a perfect fit for our firm’s culture.”
Beyond her practice, Jeanne has held leadership roles in the Allen County Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, and Fort Wayne Estate Planning Council, and is a member of the American Bar Association and Indiana CPA Society. She has also been deeply engaged in community service, serving on boards for the Indiana Institute of Technology, Fort Wayne Community Foundation, Fort Wayne Ballet, and several charitable foundations.
