Taking place on July 9 at the Dallara IndyCar Factory in Speedway, the Showcase is an event for startup companies to pitch their ideas and network with capital sources. Accredited investors vote on and pick the top pitch of the day. The prize package for the winner is worth $56,000 and includes memberships to Launch Fishers, mentorship from Launch Indiana, web and app development from Foxio, and many more.
Started in 2009 by the Venture Club, the first Showcase was held at the Purdue Technology Center of Indianapolis. As the Showcase grew, Verge came on as a partner and the location moved to DeveloperTown in 2011. In 2013 the size of the event forced it to move to the current venue. Now VisionTech Partners and Launch Fishers/Launch Indiana are also part of the event. The Showcase has grown to be an all-day event that features morning education sessions for investors and founders and a day-after Showcase feedback session for exhibiting companies. There were more than 70 exhibitors last year, including several Gutwein Law clients. We’re excited to be a sponsor and continue helping the startup community.
